Description

Well, here is a new and updated version of my flintlock gun rendered with radiosity. I've replaced that annoying piece of cloth I had earlier with a piece of newspaper. I've also shifted some textures around a bit and added some more tools. This is about as finished as it can be for the time being, but I'm always open for constructive criticism :) /Anders

Criticism? Yeah, right, lol. You're killing me man, killing me (in the best way possible) I can't see any detail that has been left out, nothing that has been overlooked. Congrats, as always!

I like the way you added the flat inverted gouraud shading perspective distorting alpha-beta blends to increase the realism of the reflected sunlight. Great work!!!! Dod you use the plugin for 4D or have you programmed it yourself after the article in the september issue of "3D Graphics Galore"?

It an excellent piece Anders, really wonderful texturing work. The only thing I can think of would be the key to fill ratio being to high. The shadow areas could be slightly brighter to give more visability of whats within them, but then you maybe want them to be this dark for higher contrast. Anyways, congrats =)

Yeah, great piece of work, but I agree with dez. Softer shadows would be more effective

A couple of crease dents in the paper would make it even better, especially with that sun coming across it. Great work!

Amazing work, almost perfect. I agree with the remarks about the shadows thought. Lighter shadows would help make it even better.

Aye, this is an awesome work! I didn't see your first one (going off to look!) but I'm impressed with the complexity and the natural, real feel to the layout. Cinema 4D? Great work!

Way better than I'll ever be. One mistake,a craftman would never place his bench with his back to the light and cast shadows on his work. But we'll write it of as artistic licence

Yes, I like this one better than the previous- it has much more dynamics in the lighting. I'd still like to see a bit off fall off, resulting in the left side being more in shade and bringing the eye more to the pistol. The rest is excellent.
