I really love the mood to this scene. Nice and soft. The little details do further bring us back to that era. Besides the lady, I love those posters, pram and car. I did notice that the focus is on the lady which is unique here since I noticed the car, which is nearer, to be blurrer. I think that is the intention.

You achieved your goal admirably. Well composed, lit and textured. 40's all round. Ration books anyone?

They say "perfection is it's own reward" and with this you've been totally rewarded. You've captured that vintage feeling suberbly without having to resort to Black & White or Sepia toning.Achieving a wide range of effects normally gained with a camera and filters. It's perfection there's no other way of decribing the render.

Lovely lovely work. Could be a picture right out of a 40's magazine. The only thing I question, and this could be highly debatable ;), would be the car. I cant help think if it were just a tad farther back it would suit the scene better. Of course you chose to have it the color red, which means you may want it to grasp more of the scene than I would have. Excellent scene none the less. Thanks for sharing.

Beautiful! That's a wonderful atmosphere, soft and glowing, perfect for the age you wanted to depict. This is absolutely excellent, poetic and delicately subdued. Gets my vote.
