Description

This is the A.S.V. (Allied Space Vessel) Erasmus, named after John Blackthorne's clipper from James Clavell's "SHOGUN." Great book -- go read it. Modeled and rendered in Poser, no post-work. I'm really happy with how the main hull (saucer) turned out, as well as the tanks at the rear. I need to play with the texture for the secondary hull (the stuff between the saucer and the tanks) a little more -- I'm not at all happy with the texturing on those. The Erasmus is from a story I've been playing with off and on, that is currently untitled. I'm planning to try putting together a couple of the characters from it as well.

It's a nice ship. The front of it looks like a starfleet ship.

This was MODELED in Poser? You've done a good job of it. One thing you might consider is making the ship's name wrap with the curve of the saucer, instead of against it.

I was impressed before I read that you'd done all this in Poser. Now I'm double impressed! :-) Great work.
