Description

Over at the 3DCC, they have a contest running in which entrants are to redesign an existing superhero. Seeing as how HawkWoman has always been a favourite of mine, I decided she'd be my "target," and here are the results. I entered a composite image of three different renders, and this is one of the three I used. Base figure is REMC's Silencia, wings are by Darkworld and the armour pieces are by John Malis. Face texture is from HappyWorldLand, the rest are by me.

Whoa....impressive wing span, nice texturing and modelling...though are the feet or shoes a bit big?....excellent image.

Forgot to mention, the only post-work I did was adding a paint daubs filter and dropping the saturation levels.

As a comics fan, I like this a lot! I like the idea of revamping existing characters - it reminds me of the work that Stan Lee is doing with the DC heroes now.

Nice overall design, and I really like the wings...also I like the "big feet" style of artwork that some comic artists have, and this reminds me of it...although maybe she should have "big hands" to match?

Those wings are fabulous!!! Maybe it's me, but her feet look too large for her body. Other than that...It's Awesome!!!

Nice work, one thing though, the shoes look a little big and sort of seem to mismatch the rest of the costume, maybe it's just the viewpoint. All in all it'a a great job your will probably win with this one.

I'd seen this, scrolling through Google a few times, but wow - I should've looked sooner! I love the armor and the helmet, and the stripes are a nice touch. The wings... no fault of yours, but not being anatomically correct irks me. (I study birds' wingshapes, so eh) Presentation-wise, could some weponry be added? Taditional Katar or pistol? =D
