Now that's gotta hurt. :oP You're off to a terrific start with this, but there's just a bit too much stuff that's rough around the edges. Perhaps you might consider toning the peaks surrounding the impact site just a bit? What about a more pronounced volumetric light in that same area? Considered using some hypervoxels to give it more "oompf"? Just suggesting. :o)
