Hi everyone.
I did this one after reading a thread in the Bryce Forum about higher end apps and us poor Brycers :) I took a reference pic and re-created it in Bryce (Bryce only).
Some info/details: I took the occasion to experiment some and to illuminate the image I used 92 ranged spotlights of various intensity scattered in critical places. Rendered at 1100x880 with Premium FX SoftShadows at 64RPP, rendertime 6 hours.

This time, no postwork at all apart from signature. And a big, big thank to tresamie for the permission to use her beautiful fractal, Hesitation; and to tuttle for his tip about ranged spotlights: I saved a big chunk of rendertime :)

Multo Belissimo, Stephano!!! I agree with ITAK, it looks a little bit like Japan! It looks absolute photorealistic! My compliments!! The only thing, that disturbs me, is the outdour- Image on the left side... The colors and lightning in my opinion looks to intense and disturbs a little bit the complete photorealistic Touch of this scene. Anyway...its excellent!

1st for Leo's comment; I don't think it takes away from the realism, especially since it IS a real photo in the window, I think anyways? The wooden floor and it's texture bump, is absolute perfection! I have studied this for quite a while and all is fantastic! The fireplace could use a log or two, but that is the only thing I see, that could be improved. I agree; THIS belongs at the top of the hot 20! VOTE PEOPLE!!!!!!

Incredible work Stefano, youv'e really captured the reference pic. Fantastic work on the lighting. Looks like you don't need to postwork on this one. It's awesome as is. Yeah man, this doesn't look like a study, looks more like a big finished project. hehehe. I can only imagine what your final product would look like. Looks like a lot of work was put into this and the payoff is fantastic! Congratulations, you never seem to stop getting better. Excellent job!

Wonderful scene DoubleC. This is excellent interior design. I love the floor and the area rug. Very modern and realistic in your chairs and table. The only thing I would like to have seen is a small picture light over Tresamie's artwork, but that's only a (personal preference of mine), and does not change the fact that your artwork is terrific!! You have a wonderful eye for this kind of art! Excellently done!
