"Now, my friends, all that is true, all that is noble, all that is just and pure...fill your thoughts with these things." (Philippians 4:8)
Five years ago I quit my teaching job and have been doing my art and photography professionally. Although I am new to the business, and money is scarce a lot, it is very rewarding to me. It has been years since I have posted on this site and I have missed talking to you guys. I hope some of you at least will remember me.

What more can I say then what is always said about your wonderful work, Incredible. You are a talent in colored pencil work. Your work inspires me to dig out my prisma colors to try them again. You are an inspiration to try that medium again. What a pleasure your art gives.

Thanks, but I somehow think I need to rework this one. I am going to try to put another layer on it and see if I can smooth it out some and tone down the red lips. They seem too bright to me. Do any of you have any critique suggestions? I learn by them. Thanks again.

Wow, you are so incredibly talented! I kind of like the high colour - but I guess it depends on what you were going for.

Great portrait sis. I definitely recognize that little man. I know what you're saying about reworking this one. But I can't really say too much on what exactly needs to be done. Maybe set up your palette a few shades darker to compensate for what lightness the mylar will add to it? Your work is superb, just make sure you're not being to hard on yourself :D
