Description

This is a wolf portrait done with paper and two layers of mylar plastic. I first did the underpainting with pastels, and then with each of the layers of mylar, I drew details on the picture, putting them all together, with tape. I drew on the mylar with Prisma colored pencils, and it adds a depth that regular drawing cannot have. comments?

This is breathtaking. Such quality, craftmanship. What an outstanding hair tutorial you could give. the eyes tell such a soulfull creature. This has to be my favorite. I can only apologize that I can only give you an excellent and give you my vote for the top ten. This deserves so much more. This has to be the best piece I have ever seen using colored pencils with this type of creature. And I do not mean on Renderosity. It is the best rendering that I have seen anywhere of a portrait of this creature. You have inspired me once again to try and step up. You are another one of my mentors here at the "R". Thank you.
