Description

Well, again I have done a "chess" image..I hope you arent bored already :) Last time I really play chess a lot and I again wanted to artistically catch the beauty of this amazing game!! This image was also little study of reflective materials and simple lighting! Done in C4D R8 with a little postwork in Photoshop 7! By the way, for those who like chess and who would like to play against the players from all world,I recommend you to download the application called ChessWorks,it is available to Mac OS and Windows! www.chessworks.net ---***--- Hope you like it,thanks for viewings, comments are most welcome as always :) Thanks! ---***--- Have a wonderful time LP

I think I might go download Chess.. Hmm I do love the game. Your image looks like my Chessboard I own, except my pieces are glass. Lovely work here :)

had i seen this somewhere else, i would've definately thought it was a photograph..... i especially like the marble....the pieces are gr8 2.....my only "criticism" is the out-of-focus piece in the foreground........its edges are 2 blurry....doesn't look rite..... otherwise......by far the best "photograph" i've seen here....:)

I must say that this would have fooled me if someone had mixed up a bunch of photos with CG images and told me to pick the "real ones"! Just fantastic!

Photorealistic isn't the word - I feel like I'm in a tight game, looking at the game at odd angles trying desperately to find my next move. Yet I end up staring at my King, forefinger edging to knock it down and give up. In your interview you mentioned mistakes - what mistakes? This is so intensely gorgeous!

Ahoj!

I've never seen a still image render quite this realistic before. There was always "something" you could look at and say... ah, it's CG. But this image has nothing to indicate it's not a photo. Great job.
