Very nice pair of kissing gourami. Reminds me of way back in my early fish-keeping days a local supplier told me that an Osphronemus gourami on sale would grow to about 2 inches!!! A couple of years later, the 2 foot+ by 15 inches monster was sharing a 6x3x3 foot tank with an aggressive male Jack Dempsey cichlid that it completely dominated. It was so strong it could knock over large sandstone rocks that I could only just lift with one hand. It loved cooked peas and would poke its head out of the water to take them from my fingers, opening it's mouth wide enough to engulf both forefinger and thumb in its jaws. Thanks for the memory of a gentle giant (at least with me, though not other fish).

In french: une tr belle image, on reconnait un couple gourami, des colisas mosaues. Je posse des colisas lalias et des macropodus opercularis. Le fait qu' un artist exerce son talent pour cette famille de poissonme fait particuliement plaisir!

Cool image.I got two of this fellows in my aquarium and I often see them doing this trying to expand their territory in the fish tank. An excellent and realistic image.
