"The more I read the papers,
The less I comprehend,
The world and all its capers
And how it all will end."
--Ira GershwinBIOI have always liked reading fiction. In fact, I don't read much else. From the time I was a kid, writers like Edward Eager, E. Nesbit, C.S. Lewis astounded me. Then I grew up and discovered the heady pleasures of Barbara Kingsolver, Michael Cunningham, Tobias Wolfe, Jane Bowles.
I like telling my own stories, but have found that I lack either the skill or patience to craft words with the artistry of those writers listed above. However, imagery (whether hand-drawn or created with the aid of Poser) has provided me with the medium to get my stories on paper.
Renderosity has given me the forum to share those stories, and for this I am grateful. I am also grateful for the other denizens of this forum who take the time to offer intelligent responses to my images--or even just a quick word of encouragement.

This is a very well composed scene. It looks very tight and claustrophobic, reminiscent of Hitchcock.

Good scene, but the blanket looks just plonked on. It doesn't look believable. If the woman in the bed had her head at that angle, she'd probably raise her shoulders and upper body slightly, being propped up on cushions(raising the top half of the blanket) or she'd get the most awful neckache. That's my opinion anyway, but I'm only a beginner, so I could be wrong. You did ask for comments!

Very dark and (I agree, SamTherapy) claustrophobic in its lighting and composition, this scene is disturbing (I mean that in a good way :)). The posing seems a bit stiff, though...It does look a bit like a couple of mannequins were set up and photographed if you know what I mean. I do think you need to work on the posing, getting a bit more lifeinto it, you know. As for the atmosphere, mood, scene composition and lighting: Very good! -Hanz
