"The more I read the papers,
The less I comprehend,
The world and all its capers
And how it all will end."
--Ira GershwinBIOI have always liked reading fiction. In fact, I don't read much else. From the time I was a kid, writers like Edward Eager, E. Nesbit, C.S. Lewis astounded me. Then I grew up and discovered the heady pleasures of Barbara Kingsolver, Michael Cunningham, Tobias Wolfe, Jane Bowles.
I like telling my own stories, but have found that I lack either the skill or patience to craft words with the artistry of those writers listed above. However, imagery (whether hand-drawn or created with the aid of Poser) has provided me with the medium to get my stories on paper.
Renderosity has given me the forum to share those stories, and for this I am grateful. I am also grateful for the other denizens of this forum who take the time to offer intelligent responses to my images--or even just a quick word of encouragement.

Grim. Very grim. He looks downright devilish! Well done.

Very powerful image. Your use of light and the background both serve to draw the eye in. As usual, you have accomplished a lot with seemingly very little.

Sounds like an intersting story. Great image, the background lighting is terrific and the scary look on his face tells all.

It's the story and your experience...and your ability to make it transparent. I know quite a few of these sad souls myself.

He's just missing JC's Evil slanty eyes and he'd be a hair dressor ex-friend of mine! His eye's used to get all slanty like he was ready to fall asleep even though he was coked out of his head. It made him look just as evil though!

This is very cool. I like the way you depicted, almost in a cartoon/stylistic fashion, the "intensity" and insanity of the drug. Really excellent work. It reminds me of the 'Twilight Zone' movie from the 80's (if you've ever seen it, you'll know what I mean).

One of the best antidrug pics I've seen. Geeze, I'll never try it now.

Excellent work!!!! You have certainly done a thought provoking image. Reminds me of a couple of people I used to hang out with in my younger days.
