Description

The instant I saw the swing at RDNA, I thought of a painting by Maxfield Parrish (Reveries). I've wanted to do my version ever since, and thanks to Chris, "Firebirdz", and his poses, I was finally able to. Chris also encouraged me to try cloth painting, and although I felt intimidated by the thought, he kept urging me. I'm not completely happy with it, but I think it's a start. It's certainly not easy to get the cloth to flow along the lines of the body and look like it's hanging in folds, too....Phew. I can't say it was fun, but certainly good discipline...:O)

Only thing i can say is WOW! :) This looks fantastic Linda and i think that you cloth painting is real good. I like the sketchy-painted style it has, i think it fits the scene very well.. it gives it a feel of hand-made paintings, not digital :)
