Description
Early June, warm and sunny. The flowers at the SF Ferry Plaza market are in top form. The have been doing plant calisthenics!

Flowers by Joelle McAlpine. Nikon coolpix photo with fisheye lens. Painter 7 woodcut, and mucho brushwork! In this one I just tried to get big stuff with brushes, then went to the Scratchboard pen tool for the linework.

These florals are beautiful. It's so "uncomputerized". Very natural! I love those outlines, it gives a lot of character to the image.
