Description
This image has lots of meaning in it for me. This is after one of my more favorite baseball songs by John Fogerty (formerly part of CCR) called 'Centerfield.' It also is a tribute to all of my teamates back in Ohio that I had for the last 6 years, I'll miss them all a lot, but also I'm looking forward to new teams here in Wilmington in the future. This ball diamond depicts what a typical Ohio field is...somewhere set in the country parts of a town, where there's not much else around besides the ping of the bat and slap of the glove. :)
The image is 99% Bryce, with postwork in Photoshop consisting of the text and I imported the softball. The light towers and bases are completely primitives, the fencing is a 2D image, the dirt, lines and grass are terrains (with a map from one of my softball photographs) and the glove is one I found on the Web, it's a terrain with a smoothed out bump map. I hope you enjoy the image as much as I did making it.

Beautific grass!!!!!!!!!!!! love how it came out! Can't wait to see a major league stadium. It does remind me a little of V.A. field here in Chillicothe. The Paints rule! hehe.
