Description

Russian Gulch State Park, Mendocino County, California, 1995. Pentax P30T, Takamura 28-70 Zoom. Technically not so great, but I like the scenery. It was a great hike, and I've been back many times. Thanks for looking. :)

Fallen trees make a great natural bridge. Looks inviting, and I dig the ferns too.

As a kid, I was lucky enough to grow up in an area surrounded by forest just like this. (Right down to the log over the stream) It brought back a LOT of incredibly pleasant memories. Thank you.

This shot works for me because there is a sense of depth and perspective. Hard to do in the middle of the forest. The fallen trees and the pathway make this shot great.

Cool shot, reminds me of some hikes I have done yrs. ago in Oregon with that balance beam of a fallen Tree. (also reminds me I should be getting out more here in WA while I am still alive)I like how the light hits that. -Peace :-)

it suggests well the agic of the place and the matte colours give a feeling of freshness that I dig, particularly in the tropical climate I am in lately :)

You are right, the scenery is totally lovable. And I don't really see the 'not so great' part :)))
