Description

This is my tribute to free stuff! Everything you see here is either free, or default in Vue. I'd like to thank everyone who takes the time to make these wonderfull models that we get to play with in our pictures. Special thx go to my good friend Madasatadpole for his incredible trees, and to Thomas Krahn for his new Fern. A great model Thomas, thx for sharing :) Many other credits are needed here for this pic, but without making too long a list know that my thx goes to all... This image nearly killed my PC, with over 10 million polygons! Textures by me, my trusty Digital Camera, and hours of figuring out how to use displacement maps!! TIP: If you know you want to use them 'Turn the camera so that it faces North before you start the pic itself!! Rendering time 3 hours/Broadcast. Postwork Photoshop. Thx for listning, and viewing... Not bad :-)) The trees are a little washed out maybe, but just a little bit. The textures and the pov are great. A nice summerday at the countryside - as you said.

Excellent one! Just so an simple idea but so impressive realized! Reminds me a little bit on the first Nazgul Meeting in the LotR 1. (But there it was "darker") Excellent!

i reckon you nailed it on this image steve ..its got wonderful depth..and looks to have been fun composing...you got my vote for this and thanks for the credit mention...putting free stuff up makes it worthwhile to the maker ..when its used and commented on in images such as yours...excellent stuff mate..:)
