i am waiting ...
... for real freedom, true liberty, i am waiting for anger to coexist with love, i am waiting for a dream to come true, for butterflies to come out of their cocoons
... for complicated things to become simple, for love and peace to rule pride and greed
... for words to mean more than grammar, for imagination to take flight, i am waiting for a sentence to have more meaning than commas and vowels, a time when false facts are proven false
... for the time when dreams take place of nightmares, when fairy tales come true, for the time when we wonder where we truly come from the space between dawn and day when time stands still
... for the bud of life to bloom, for weakness to fade, fear to vanish
i will see the rebirth of wonder!

Waiting also means we sometimes have to unlock the chains, open the door and let the thing we wait for, be allowed to enter. Your body breathes automatic, yet upon rising from the deep, a diver has to inhale the first oxygen. Start the flow. The lock you used is a great symbol, rusted, not broken.

To wait is a passive attitude that conceives a certain hope and infers an incapacity to action. To act is a movement towards something through which a human being can be perceptible by what he is, by his intention and will of transformation, by his power to convert an aspiration into an actual, into an accomplished fact. On a primitive sense, a free person is a person which is not slave or prisoner. Someone not subdued to imposed constraints. Someone that acts in conformity with the will and innermost nature. Extreme indifference can be a form of freedom. But requires strength to modify character and condition. Requires action. A person that waits, without power to act, can not be a free person.
