Description
This is the eponymous starship of my fan fiction "Endeavour," an alternate take on the possible avenue that could have been taken in the era of "Enterprise." This is *my* 'first Warp 5 starship,' manned by a crew that is a mixed bag of Starfleet operations personnel, and UESPA scientists and diplomats. This is the ship on which the T'Pol in my previous posts is a crewmember; while based on the character from ENT, she is decidedly *not* based on Jolene Blalock, any more than this ship is based upon "Akira," which briefly appeared the movie "Star Trek: First Contact," and was subsequently used as the basis for the design of the NX-01 in "Enterprise."

This is looking very, very good. I'm not a huge fan of the hardware of Star Trek, so I'm no authority on what they really are supposed to look like. In my humble opinion, I think you've done an outstanding modeling job. I can't wait to see what you do for textures. :o)

I can't wait, either :-). Glad you like it so far, though; it's been a real thrill to have it come together as well as it has, considering my lack of experience with the software (I've always been a 2D artist). I'm thinking about putting nose art on it :-). Since it is closer to our time, and one of the respondents to the original thread on the TrekBBS referred to the design as "a jumbo jet crashed into a saucer" (he meant it in a positive way), it just seems appropriate that there should be something more than the typical Trek paramilitary formality.
