Description

*Action is the proper fruit of knowledge.* Th. Fuller -------------------- Photoshop, 2 Layers, background painted, main figure from thispenciled sketch of the Bride. Same time and technique used for the Day Bride previously uploaded. -------------------- Again, it's not really properly defined as Negative Space (the June Theme) but my lackin of time prevents me from trying harder on the subject: I still like the image, for what it is, though it's nothing groundbreakin. The serene expression is my way to define the blessing of thoughtfullness that I identify with a bright night full of star. Have all a great day, and.. in this week filled with stuff I'll try to cope with all art I have to check.. but be patient, because I really have no spare time these coupla days, and tomorrow is Florence holiday so sea waits for me ;) ;) Hugs everyone, and ... let the night caress your soul :)

You must have just left for the running so it's niec to see you managed to put it up before it :) It's great...and a perfect opposite to the Day one. Can't find too many words for this one as I just get raptured by its essence and mood. It gives you such a serene will of intrigument. :) Okey..that was some strange sentences, I hope not though ;) A great piece in any case!

Seems very refreshing to me. Like the sea at night, swallowing all your senses with it's breeze, smell, and utter hugeness. She seems engulfed in it's splendor because the days now - they grow so hot!

This is somewhat spiritual, I might start floating in a while. This is... transvisional I guess... if only transvisional would be an actual word... and maybe it it, but at this point I don't know ;) Anyway, I especially like the bottom part, reminds me of water, chilly water.

How wonderful the bakground and your drawing are merged into a magical image. I just love it. I got an association of a mermaid that has risen from the depth to be a human bride.

The idealized image of a perfect bride that awaits and longs for a perfect absent groom. She is wrapped on a strange hypnotic or amnesic atmosphere. Love is a need and you seem to suggest that love is a specific, a directed thinking mood, therefore an action of the mind that disturbs behaviour, mobilizing all energy into a point of paralysis. A pleasurable stoppage of the body on thoughts that cannot bring the beloved.

Most cool Art as always. Beautiful looking woman, and I like the blues, and lights are nice too. This has a nice serene and mystical quality to it.

Like the restraint in the number of colours. The lens flares are nice except for when they're obscured and muddied with details :-)
It's good watching you develop in Photoshop, and nice to see you're investigating the Overlay and Soft Light modes - these are indispensable for my own colour schemes - they're so useful and I can't imagine Photoshop without them, but not everyone seems to check them out :-)
It'll be interesting when we look back at these works in 2 or 3 years when you'll be so much more proficient and intuitive with Photoshop. It'll happen :-)

This is a good image, but I prefer the pencil sketch. Sorry, but thats just me, and I am sure that there are other people that prefers the colored version to the pencil sketch, thats why the world is such an interesting place hugs

Looks like she is floating in a cold, cold water. Great to see that you are experimenting with the layer modes to apply color. Overlay is one of my favorites. and blue is one of my favorite colors too, along with red. I have done many paintings with just those two colors.
