Description
Another rusty stuff with Maya 4.0, I called this scene "Old Platform"
Based on "Future Patrol" (on my gallery)

flakmonkey
you do this for a living right?? all your images are of an insane level of quality, this is no exception.
DeathBrain
Thank you so much flakmonkey, and yes, I do this for a living :)
DatJongetje
Modelling and texturing look very fine! :)
But I do have an issue with the lighting, it has no source. It would be cool to place some lights in between some geometry to suggest more activity and create more atmosphere in the scene. A good way to test different light settings would be by trying out GI. (perhaps Brazil?)
DeathBrain
Oops i forgot that, you're right DatJongetje, light sources, thank you..
VOID
I agree. Some lightsources between the structures would look good. It already looks much better than "Future Patrol" and I am glad that you combined some different metal types and materials. Some dust and steam would look good too and perhaps some oil or other liquids. Render on! :D
ShellShock
The scene rocks!!!
Deadless
this is sweet man, I just like the feel of good old construction. fantastic work mate
