Description

Finally my Cinema 8 upgrade has arrived! To try some of the new features (this is a huge 3 release leap for me) I rendered some of the models and scenes I had made with Cinema 6. This was just a quick radiosity and SLA Test. These are two Glocks, one chambered in .40 S&W and one chambered for StunDart ammo with an integral Taser and electro stunner. The later is designed for police deployment. StunDart ammo uses chemical propellants and solid bullets like regular bullets to deploy a hard kinetic shock and unload a strong electrical impulse, but it is mostly unlethal. The weapons are completely fictional and my original design. The design is inspired by todays Glock pistols, Walthers P-99 and the current Taser weapon development. It was made for a cyberpunk roleplaying game weapons collection. Oh by the way, did I mention that I really like Glocks?

Yes, I also have the impression, that it somehow looks a bit granular. Somehow I like the look of the .40 caseings.

Glocks would have to be one of my favs too. Your new ammo is well thought out and I like the .40. The tazer idea is great. As for the models, they are excellent, well done.

Thanks for the feedback. There is no grain on the picture. The undergorund is rough marble and the polymere of the grips is roughed up. The rest is a radiosity effect. ;)

Cyberpunk is a literature genre depicted by authors like Gibson, Womack and Stephenson. It is mostly characterised by a very dark future perspective. Powerfull, international corporations rule mostly by force, political corruption and by benefitting from the general poverty. The rain is dirty (it rains very often), the nature polluted and for most people, life is miserable. Cyberpunks are the revolutionaries of these worlds. Cyberpunk means freedom of data. Its a symbiosis of Hacker codex and neo-anarchism. For details, try to google it up ;)
