Description

Now that I finally got Cinema 8 XL, I had to try out some new features. The scene itself is very old. I did this about three years ago with Cinema 4D Go. I updated some of the screens with more current pictures and rerendered the scene using the radiosity engine with some other advanced render options. I think I will have to practice some more with 8XL. The scene is a portrait of one of the shadowrun npc

You did THAT scene with Cinema 4D Go??? I think I have greatly underestimated 4D Go. Excellent picture. Looks terrific with the advanced render engine of Cinema 8 :D

Thanks. Sometimes its the tools you have at your disposal that limit your possibilities. When I made that scene with Cinema 4D Go, my possibilities to achieve a decent lighting were very limited and the maximum render size made postwork difficult. Now with Cinema 8, this does not apply anymore. I really like the radiosity engine. It produces very powerful effects and the possibility to include posteffects directly in the rendering is very time saving, too.
