Hello folks,
Here's what I thought is a colourful macro image for the archives.
As you can see this "Fruit Beetle" is quite a big critter. Not that much smaller than the apple that it is eating.
Judging but the sharp hooks it has on every limb, I'm certainly glad that they don't get much bigger.
I do like the metalic colours that some of these animals have.

Great colours, and great shot! Looks like the beetle is taking a rest...hanging his legs down the edge of the apple :-)

What a great macro of that amazingly coloured beetle. I like beetles and this robobeetle bits all. Fine composition.
