Hi! Back again since a VERY long time :) Hope to upload more work in the near future (because there are a lot of images that have to be uploaded!! for the impatiently of you: view all the images at www.lightray.at. ============== The image was created for the animago, but unfortunately i havn't won anything. the images shows a coffee-cup with an island inside, but if you have a closer look at the rendering, you'll discover a little story. for all of you who can't speak german. the text on the right side means "farewell i can read in your eyes. take a smile into your new world! your wife" happy awaiting any comments. thx chris

Excellent Chris!! Lots of work and thought gone into this!! Amazing. Loads of great materials, textures and surfaces that are hard to recreate, excellent attention to fine details, lighting, caustics, shadows everything! I see lots of poor 3d work with a great idea behind it, and lots of outstanding 3d work that is meaningless, but when someone manages to achieve both that is rare. I wish I could do it. Well done! P.s. You should have got an award.
