Description

This is a non-digital (35 mm camera) photo with Kodak B&W film. I took this photo a while ago when I went hiking at Priest Point Park in Olympia, WA where I live. (Scanned with my Canoscan, and GIMP for postwork; unsharpen mask, resized)Thanks for looking, Peace :-)

this is wonderful Jeff and a great use of the desaturation tool, i love the effect that you have created, the tone and POV really draws me into the image, just super!!!!!!!

You don't get ugly lines all over your scans with your Canoscan I see. You are lucky. That's why I had to get rid of mine. Excellent photo and good scan of a beautiful tree. I like the look of the B&W film. :)

Beautiful tone in this image.. Love the smoothness and darkness of the branches against the lightness of the leaves.. Great work!

Awesome perspective of height adds depth and age along with the moss. Isn't B&W photography great? Gets you out of the mode of taking pictures just because of colors and not because of the subject itself.
