Description

This is a digital photo of a piece of Driftwood on the Coast of WA about an hour drive from Olympia here. I finally got out to the coast yesterday since living here for nearly a year now. Driftwood is common around these West Coast parts, esp. down in Oregon where I grew up. I used GIMP 2 unsharpen mask a bit, and resize. Thanks for looking, peace :-)

I like this...it could very easily be passed off as Foxton Beach...we must have similar Sand Stucture, and We are both on the West Coast...exept that I am in the Southern Hemisphere...I think:)

Thanks for comments Tedz, much appreciated as always. :-) Yes, according to my Globe New Zealand is located in the Southern Hemisphere. I noticed we have similar Latitudes of 45 Degrees or so. I wonder if this accounts for similar looking beaches? Also NZ is on the other side of the International Date Line. So if it is Monday there, it is Sunday here for a few hours until we catch up.(Just thought I'd mention that) :-)

Thanks for most kind comments All :-) Yes Cynlee, that is kind of interesting w/Tedz/NZ Timeline. You should have seen the rest of the beach SoulEater, it was more disturbed with many motor vehicles parked all over the place. ;-)
