Description

I did this a few years ago, but the result may be of interest. I read of an optics experiment some time ago: 4 highly reflective ball bearings were stacked with one atop the other three. A camera was focused in the space between. (Sorry I can't remember who conducted the experiment to give proper credit). This is perfectly easy to reproduce with CG. I set the reflection recursion up to 128, I believe. The result is nested reflections that qualify as truly fractal.

This is a great exercise to share with everyone. It's good to see 3D software being experimental. Thanks.
