Description

Some folks wander through their life, not knowing who they are or what they should be. I have known all my life...no matter the cost or what others might think...I would always be a cowboy. The sketch was done with 5H,H, HB and 3B Pencils. The matting and frame (my work), wall shadow, Horse, and eyes were done in PSP8. Thanks for stopping by!...Cheryl

Your sketching skills are very crisp. The positioning definitely challenges the accuracy of photographs. The shading harkens to the years of Dagguerotypes while possessing a velvety quality all it's own to devour blur or present it as silk.

Oh Cheryl you have once again moved the bar upwards again the facial lines,tones and shading is amongst your best if not your very best!! Hugz

I agree with danob, you are constantly moving the bar upwards everytime out. what a joy to see and experience. Your shading is so smooth and highlights are very disctinctive. This is absolutely your best overall shading you have done. Like I said before, you are in the zone.

Cheryl, I am sorry I made it late on this one, I think this is your best yet, the shadowing is wonderful, and you really captured the rough look of the Cowboy, the lines in his face tell it all, very well done my friend.
