I noticed that branch while walking back from the store where my mom send me for some last-minute shopping while I was at my parents

Lovely cone pattern. :) I like to break off a needle or two, break 'em in half and take a sniff. Usually, especially out in the wilderness, there's a very strong "Lemon Pledge" sort of smell, which varies from region to region, tree to tree. It's quite delicious. Did you try that with this tree? :)

When I saw the thumbnail (the first one,now it's different) I was sure this is some kind of tropical bird. And that's just a pine. Amazing what you made out of it.
