Description

The Story - "In 2366, 40 Federation starships were sent to Wolf 359 to intercept the Borg. 39 ships were lost, along with 11,000 lives. The lone survivor, U.S.S. Righteous, limps its way back after the massacare." The Picture - I thought back at 2 episodes of Star Trek: TNG, "Best of Both Worlds, part 2" and "The Drumhead." From the first one, Admiral Hanson said that they mobilized a fleet of 40 ships. From the second one, Admiral Satie said that 39 ships were lost. Notice a discrepancy? When you think about it, the Enterprise could not be the lone survivor of the massacare because durring the massacare, she was dead in the water after she failed to destroy the borg with their deflector beam. Her warp drive was off-line and her deflector was burned out. Well, I was looking for a mesh that would be availaable during the massacare, and I found the Enterprise-B. I modified it to include only noticable blast damage. I didn't want to go too far. The mesh was made by Eric Peterson and can be found at www.startrekaustralia.com. The ship was rendered with AutoCAD 2002 and the starfield was made with MGI Photsuite SE. Also, Wolf 359 is a real star system.
