INDIGO
THE COLOR OF INDIGO
BLEEDS UPON THE PAGE,
LEAVING CRYPTIC FORMS
BREATHING TO LIFE.
THOUGH TRAPPED ARE THEY
IN A TWO DIMENSIONAL CAGE,
THEY LIVE LONGER THAN MAN
IN HIS STRIFE.
WHISPERING MUTELY
IN A READERS EAR,
THE FLOW OF AGELESS METAPHORS
IN ONE CONTRADICTORY NOTE.
IF ONLY MAN COULD SEE,
MAYBE HE WOULD KNOW FEAR
FROM THE PEN OF AN AUTHOR,
IN THE WORDS THAT HE WROTE.
