What is mans interest
In the Rose?
Her petals are soft
To the touch,
Her fragrance
The essence of Life.
Her beauty untamed,
Reaches to seduce
The embrace of one
Who knows no pain.
He reaches to couple
And hold Her close.
In return, She wounds Him,
Though He never lets go.
For Her thorns
He may have bled,
Yet, He knows
The color of the Rose
Is always red.
