looks excellent so far!

Everything looks good from here...maybe the nose seems a little thin, but it's hard to tell from this angle and render. The ear is masterful!

This looks to me like a really good, well-proportioned model of a human head. With most people's models, I have noticed a bizarre, slightly off look to them from the subtle to the extreme. The head's that I have modeled don't look right and have that off look to me when I view them. The human head is no easy task to achieve, as well as doing it well. Ear's and hand's I have found to be the most challenging. It would be interesting to see this rendered in a different style perhaps, not in this Cel Rendered quantized post-effect. (IMO) This render doesnt do this model justness. Great modeling & effort!

Thanks for the comments, folks! After visiting everybody's atrist galleries, I find myself inspired to achiev such finesse! Lynn: the nose may be too thin/small, I have been constantly adjusting it...I'll post another render so you can judge... jsls: I am flattered by your remarks and I see your point about the cel render. I chose that style because after working on the model and staring at the smooth shaded/ soft shadowed renders for days, I found the cel effect a little refreshing! Anyway, I will post another render because I definitly need some input...(best way for me to learn!) p.s. I agree that ears and hands are VERY difficult; I worked for an entire day to create the ear and I think it can still use some more work...

Other then the nose looking a little small (but hey some people do have small noses) this is great. Excellent work on the ears, very detailed
