Hmm...I guess I'm off base, but she doesn't look lonely or in pain to me. She looks kind of cold and indifferent - an alien whose motives we can't possibly imagine. Anyhow, I like it!

The Haunting is what I think, don't change anything, its a simple moody and beautiful image....yeah, Heart'song is right, you cannot discern her mood or motive, but its beautiful.

This is what I see, in her face certain courage but in her eyes no longer the strength to find the courage. The eyes are so dark and deep, invading her soul with hopelessness. What a beautiful, dark, lingering image.

Wow - thanks everyone for all of the kind words!! All of you are right on the money about what the image represents - I was in "a mood" when I created it. The loneliness, hopelessness, indifference... all of those go with what I was feeling at the time. I'm glad she comes across the way I wanted her to. OH YEAH - I found a title for it within Morris' comments too! ;)

Pure evil in the eyes, absolutely dark. I love this image, however, sitting here starring at it is giving me the heebies and the jeebies, so, I think I will go outside and find my happy place now! Great image! Demago2
