Description

this is to say sorry for posting this picture in the wrong gallery - and to make you see how it was done!!! this is a litte about how i do my work - cause some people think i should not post in vue, maybe they are right, cause i agree there is a lot of postwork on my pictures - - now a little explaining of the picture we are talking about - ok you can see on the top the vue render without any post - on the lower the finished picture - now a few steps between - ok at the beginning there is an idea, of this i do a rough pencil scetch - then i think about how to do - for this one i decidet to use poser for the figures - when they are at the right pose i import them into vue (cause vue can handle poser without changing the format), it could be also bryce but in this case it was vue - in vue i modeld the landscape and ad the ambiance - posed some buildings which came with vue, then i rendered the szene - i took a look at the result and thought it looks cold, without live - so i go to painter - in painter i paint in the trees and the grass in the foreground, some more trees and buildings in the middle, the dragon, the waterfalls and more dust in the background to recive more depth - at the end i did a little color correction to recive warmer tones in the front (more yellow) - and it was finished - -this is a litte make you see how i do some things -

I looked at your finished image and personally, I think you should be able to post your images in whatever gallery you choose to - since the image was rendered in Vue and then finished in another medium, it is still a Vue image to me! Take a look at other Vue images and a lot of them have post-rendering done to finish them. By the way, your image is oustanding and I gave it a vote and also added you to my Favourites! Keep up the good work and don't let the 'nay' sayers get you down.

first of all, this is a great tutorial Uwe thank u so much for sharing my friend, second, this gallery has been upside down lately, is it the heat? what's going on people? all this fight about votes and whatever, this is really so sad, IMHO art/imagery is not all about votes nor gallery placements, it does portray a powerful message, and best of all for all the right reasons! art is art no matter where is posted!!! LONG LIVE ART!!!! respect ;0]

Dear Uwe, but possible that people always find something of which to speak badly _ I find that in front of creations as yours, is only them compotes from a program or from more programs, or is alone you create with Painter, we cannot be spoken neither to steal votes (OMG that boredom is history of the votes) of it of wrong gallery. In front of your creations it needs only to be in silence admiring the smallest detail, the perfection of every detail, the tones of color and the harmony that you reconstruct every time. In front of what that can be calls only Masterpiece the common people (as me) they have only to whisper, and to admire the perfection. Hi your friend Orietta

You are very talented and you do constuct your original image in Vue. Lots of artists do post work, so it is now an argument of how much post work is acceptable. There is no answer to this and there never will be. It is a pleasure to view your images and wish you to keep posting into the view gallery if that is one of your primary tools. Thanks.

Excellent artwork and tutorial!!! Post it where ever you want !! Most of the image was done in Vue so that seems the most logical place to post. The ones complaining are putting to much emphisis on the software used instead of the art created.

This is awe inspiring artwork both the original and certainly the postworked. It's great to see what elements are painted and what isn't and it's always helpful to see what can be done in both. To me, the Vue render itself is an awesome piece of art, but I fully agree that the post brings extra life into it. This is an art gallery, not an ad for e-on, curious labs, or whoever, so why should it matter what postwork you did to fulfill your vision.

I loved the image and the postwor (and the explanation about it). I tend to believe the guidelines in the galleries, as the banner read in the start are the rules to be followed. Dunno how it work in Vue, but there you should find what is acceptable or not, and follow the rule as established. This picture is awesome in itself, wherever you will post it but if in Vue there are rules to be adopted (I don't know, I am speaking of possibility of them, as I never read the rules applied in this gallery) then youshould follow them applying here, for respect of those who do. just my two cents. I repeat that this work is stunning. It would figure well in whatever gallery :) And I hope if you like Vue, and stay here, that it can be accepted here, causing no contrasts. It's about asking to moderators of the gallery, I think. They will tell you what's acceptable and what's not :)Then the choice of breaking rules or not is yours. And teh consequences as seriousness in the way your work will be regarded, will be as well :) Hugs :)

For me it's ok for Vue gallery cause it's alwxays difficult to make choice gallery when we use different tool for creation. I said me always "what is more software i use or what i want see". For exemple in poser gallery i make all time my pict with photoshop or Vue d'esprit, but charactere is more principal thing what i want seeing. So i post in Poser. I think Vue is an excellent progrram, but with ome photoshop or painter touch that make magnificent picture, so why don't use it? :) Thanks a lot for the tuto and explain.

Hi Uwe, You should be able to post this in the Vue gallery !!! What if there are people who only look at the Vue community ? They would miss those beautiful pictures you create and never know what ART you can create with Vue d'Esprit ! The only option would be to place the un-edited version in the Vue gallery with a comment on where to find the post-worked version. A lot of hassle if you ask me ! I think that you should be able to post the post-worked version directly in the Vue gallery with a comment that you did some post-work on it. You're too good an artist not to be shown in the Vue gallery and actually they should be on there hands and knees that you are willing to show the images at all LOL !!!! Keep up the great ART-work and you're on my fav list for a while too, so wherever you post ... I will follow ROFL !!!! Cya

With your talent you can post where ever you like, so long as we the viewers are enriched by viewing your magnificent work. Ignore the nay sayers and self appointed critics who presume to tell others what they should or shouldnt do. Be true to yourself, and we will appreciate whatever gallery you choose to post in. If there was such a category as a grand master gallery you would be one of the first I would expect to see post there. LOL. :-D

I sure hope you don't interpreted my comment in such a bad way as I feel, you think, asking a picture to be moved to another gallery is! This IS a fantastic pic, and I must admit, I was surprised to see how much Vue-work there was in this piece. But, I must disagree with the others about posting whatever gallery one desires. - Knowing how much Vue-work there is in this one, I'd say it's okay to post it in the Vue-gallery. But anymore and you've used as much postwork as Vue. There's is a gallery for this kind of imagery, Mixed Medium, so why not use it?

Thanks for the tutorial on how you did it, I have found it most interesting. It was my only dissapointment on your first posting of it, that there was no basic breakdown of the image. I find it of great interest to know what goes into a picture, at least the basic's, particularly when it is such an excellent one. I frequently find myself looking at an image wondering how much is the artists own input when no details are given. I think your image is an excellent creation. Dave

thank you all, thank you again for the comments, i had to do a little explenation about, why i posted this one - first it does no mater to me in which gallery i post a picture - and i think gallimel said it very clear - i had to follow the rules - thanks tor that - again, if i did not follwow the rules of this gallery i am sorry - i just wanted to show the people in this gallery, with this mini tut, that vue was used in this picture the biggest part - if its placed better in mixed medium it is really ok for me --- i just was a little angry, yesterday evening, as i came home and had to see my picture changed to mixed medium - without giving me a chance to change it by myself or letting me explain why i posted it here - so again it is and it was never my intend to break rules here in renderosity - now as i know, it will never happen again - i admire totaly what renderosity does for digital art - so sorry if i made some trouble - for this one i agree, it fits better in mixed medium cause its done a lot of postwork, never the less i love vue cause its one of my fafourite and main tools - and i love the vue gallery cause i found sooo many talented artists in there and so many unbelivable pictures, so its always a joy too take a look in the vue gallery. see you

Some people remember that we are here (RO) for make and see art ???? Leave off the vote, not are important, the artist's works are important only for the quality and for the message that gives on itself. The people want the vote only for the fame and this is a wrong motive, not is possible to trust to the vote only for value the quality of the art and this is sublime art indefferently from the gallery in which it is put !!!! Therefore we can only admire this marvellous work !!!!! Compliments Uwe !!!! bye Debby :-D

I for one, don't surf all the galleries here, mostly just Vue. I just want to thank you for posting it in this gallery or I wouldn't have seen this awesome artwork. And the second posting is cool too, as I learned 1 or 2 things just from seeing how it was done. Again,,, awesome work here!!!
