Description

This is a sketch done on the fly, with a ball paint pen over the back side of a printed report.
I did it at the office in about 15 minutes
The only reason why I'm posting it, os for you all to see how bad am I at drawing, and also because to my amazement, somoene asked me when would I be posting more stuf.
Well, this is what happend when I don't have a model to follow and I simply draw from my head. (in this case from the memori of my own reflection in the mirror)
Hope you don't dislike it very much.

Ok, let's see if I can re-create my comment... here goes: I don't think it's very bad at all. :) It looks like a good start, so perhaps you would like to try and finish it. I think you got the proportions pretty much right (just lower the right eye a lottle so it would align with the other eye). Oh, and the nostrils should be a little further apart from each other. Other that - the genral stracture looks fine to me. Also - I find this useful myself - to draw some guidlines, it really helps to keep everything "in place". (which is of course pretty hard to do when sketching with a pen...) Judging from your picture, it does remind you quite a lot! :)

Well, thanks Anat... really. Something I should say though is that I did some intentional changes to the eyes, I lifted the corners a little bit and so I did with the eyebrows, to give the face a more feline look... The nose has been the hard part to do... and you are entirely right... nostrils are very close. Thanks, A LOT.

This is an excellent start. I honestly believe that it will be a wonderful work of art when it is completed :) You have talent, all you need is a lil confidence!
