Description
scanned sketch, photoshop.
continued with this "masked clan" theme..this time I went for the same color theme as in "bird spirit", but decided (thanks to syndroid) to keep the highlight/shadow brushwork more softer. Still I feel there's something wrong..maybe i should've added more light coloring..(?)

I love how the border is part of the image. If you scroll down you focus on the light, but slowy the space on either side of the ray slowly becomes the border. Also the focus on the characters and soft focus on the flowers enhances the sense of depth.
Acerebel
As always, I love your work. However, if I can answer your question about "something wrong"? The one thing this image doesn't have, that your others seem to, is a focus of light. There seems to me (who couldn't produce this in a hundred years!) to be too much sameness to the tonal range, and insufficient contrast between light and shadow. I think, for instance, of your image "Veil", where these is such a strong beam on the subject. I don't quite know where I'm supposed to look in this image. Beautiful, nonetheless.
Synapse
Something about the muddiness of the foreground object doesn't appeal to me... is it a plant out of focus? Looks like it. I think it could be improved so much simply by adding more light: I think Acerebel and yourself had the right inclination here.
