-------- SAN DIEGO 2003 SERIES #1 - COMIC CON and A LOOK AT SAN DIEGO -------- Hey everyone, sorry I've been gone for so long! I'm going to take another break from Aircraft and Panoramas (seeing as I haven't taken any in quite some time!). I was at Comic Con 2003 this year in San Diego (I HIGHLY recommend this for anyone who can make it. It was more fun thatn I've ever had in my life! Not only do you get to meet tons of stars ranging from Halle Berry, Angelina Jolie, Hugh Jackman, etc., but you get all sorts of cool panels and instructional classes). So, I'll be posting some shots of San Diego city life and the Comic Con. -------------------------------------------------------- One of the things about San Diego is not only the nice weather at night during the summer, but the amount of people there are walking around town as late as 2am! This was taken as I was walking around at about 2am, and is of the port area behind the hotel I was staying at. Funny enough, this long exposure shot was taken on a Dave and Buster's plastic cup that I had won moments earlier. (How's THAT for a makeshift tripod!?). The string of lights you see in the distance is one of the giant bridges in San Diego. This bridge is huge! It has to be tall enough for Aircraft Carriers to sail under on their way out from the naval ports. Camera is a Minolta Dimage 7hi (5 megapixels). Reduced in size about 33%. Taken with auto exposure on, manual focus. Exposure time was like 5 seconds.
