Description

-------- SAN DIEGO 2003 SERIES #2 - COMIC CON and A LOOK AT SAN DIEGO -------- Continuing the San Diego/Comic con series. See image #1 ('Reflections at 2am') for more info on the event. -------------------------------------------------------- This shot was taken on the second to last day when I took an extra long walk at night. I was unfortunate enough to be caught on the wrong side of where I needed to be right as a mile long train STOPPED effectivly blocking every single crossing path within any walking distance. safe to say that 30 minutes later, it moved again and I was able to get across. During the time, I went and found one of the engines, and took a few shots of it. Might seem like a drag, I know, but just think about all the people stuck in their cars! At least I could walk around and enjoy San Diego! Camera is a Minolta Dimage 7hi (5 megapixels). Reduced in size about 33%. Taken with auto exposure on, manual focus. Exposure time was like 2 seconds and I have it resting on the gate which you can partially see.

Nice one. I'm an electric (motor) locomotive fan. My favorite is the GG1. Wish there was a comic convention in the D.C. area. I have a modest 18 long box comic collection and 8 magazine boxes.
