Hmm that pistol is really not made for close up renders I can tell... And the pistol reflection in the table seems a little strange... oherwise I really like the way youve posed everything. The smoking cigarett showing recent activity and the pistol layin careless on the table is saying something about the person who lives there or might having his office there... Probably not a very plesant person. Good work and keep rendering :D

Hm... The reflection is strange, I agree. It looks like the gun is hovering some inches above the table. As far as it seems to be possible with rock objects it is good, but it does still give no results fit for closeups. I think there is no way around using a proper mesh for that kind of application.

Now it's thicker than the previous version. The setting is still very good, but the lattice still has some problems. Smoke's good, it's like this that smoke flows in a very calm, hot day. A Private's Eye office?

I love what you did here. The gun is a marvellous idea using a lattice! A higher res on the lattice would probably improve it. Also a radial light might help too!
