Description

Apophysis-1 and Ultrafractal 3.02 Shell made with various doodads and Apophysis flame textures. There's nothing I enjoy more than heading over to Sanibel Island and walking the beaches in search of seashells - among GOD's greatest fractal spirals, IMO! Here we see, by the early morning light next to a calm low tide pool, that a partially buried piece of driftwood has, fortunately, kept a large Florida fighting conch shell from being swept back out with the tide.... Thanks for stopping by... let me know if anyone finds a junonia! ;?) Thanks, Kim, for giving me the purpose and reason to make this!

My, my, Rick! Makes me want to go to the beach! I can see this was a lot of work! And well worth it! The shell, sand, and apo elements are wonderful and the framing is divine! I love the four corner pieces and the lucious texture underneath them.

You did another masterpiece with this image! The fighting conch looks so real, as does the sand and the driftwood. Love the frame you selected -- it sets off the scene perfectly. Just beautiful. Makes me want to go back to Sanibel! :^)

That looks like one magical conch shell! The only time I get to the beach anymore, is when I've hit into a sand trap. Thanks!

Such a wonderful image Rick :) A fabulous composition. Everything is perfect. What I really love is the soft haziness you've achieved, makes me feel as though I'm right there exploring the sea bed. Superbly framed to :)

Haven't been around much the last couple of weeks, been getting out in the sun while we have it! Now i'm trying to catch up on everything i've missed...it may take a while! This is a nice underwater scene, like looking thru the window of a submersible. Nice work.
