- The eyes of a Child of Despair - - Imagine - The world seen through these eyes - - For If you dare gaze into these eyes - - You too may feel the terror of he who can only view out - - photo by danob of such a child - - When looking for a title to our work - Dan told me he was deeply moved by the sadness he felt from the look in this childs eyes - As I stared into this image the words for the title and the above caption appeared in my mind - - Spontaneous would best discribe the inception of this work and Colaberation - We hope you will enjoy - -For danob and myself - Thank You for viewing -

Eyes are the mirror of the soul.. sometimes the others eyes can be mirror of OUR soul.. Beautiful colaboration.. really a deep work.. I like it very much.

thought i saw some of danny's world in this & your wonderful coloring- makes for a dynamic interaction, drawing the viewer in... i don't recall the original image but it seems to have been transformed here from sadness to something wonderous & touching when viewed from the eyes of a child

A wonderful colaboration. The eyes are haunting. However, the central lighted and colorful area seems to signify hope and a bright view of the world.

In my mind the image associates with one in the National Geographic of an African child with yaws. In the sense the source of the pitiful state is irrational. Action is made very distant.

Very dynamic work. To me, the child is exspressing anger and rage at this unfair and vicious world that devours so many fine people. Red can signify anger and there is a lot of red here. The other images represent all of the confusion and complication of life-the "red tape" - the stuff that makes it so hard to even help others anymore. Just giving a homeless person aome change is a big deal anymore. In some places it is illeagal to panhandle, yet supposedly people are "free". This image captures the complications and pain of our times.
