Description
In the distant past, a huge and violent flood rushes down from a great collapsed area called Hydraotes Chaos in the south. It gets diverted to the east by a crater and then smashes over the rim of another crater, washing part of the rim away and leaving giant chunks of rubble on the crater floor. Part of the flood breaches the north rim of the crater, but most of the water flows around the western edge. The crater in the foreground is about 50 km across. The breached crater is about 100 km. Nowadays this great flood plain is called Tiu
Vallis.
I should also point out that I did a bit of post work by going in and smudging up some of the more obvious linear artifacts. My guess is that the orginal MOL data is at fault.

Oh, nice surfacing, too! Terragen is letting you down a bit by making polygon edges; I'm not sure how to cure that except by experimenting with the size of the grid. Great subtle lighting and atmosphere, too!
