Thaks Pureflesh, it is, I printed this on a canvas about 6'x3' and submited it to a painting gallery at my school. I wanted to piss my painting teacher off who says 3D work can not be considered fine art.

Ohh I forgot to tell you.. The reaction I got from it WAs incredible.... Alot of traditional artists (professional ones) loved it specially since it was doen at 300 DPI there was alot of fine fine detail on the woreframe which was alaso textured... My teacher ended up stoppping in the hall one day and told me he liked it.

Wow it looks as if heavy meshsmooth was applied, then each individual poly was somehow extruded and beveled....hmmm, must know how image was made :) lol - A 10 for artistic impression and technique!

YEAH! This reminds me of something I did a year ago on my old, crappy, junky site... your render is so neat. I'm not up to that level yet, but look at something similar I did a year ago... (with Autocad 15, of all programs :P !!) ...its not nearly as well crafted as yours, but it has a similar thing going... Again, kudos, and way to stand up for 3d artists.
