Description

This was just off the docks in Rockport, Massachusetts. It sat in the water rocking peacefully... until I came along and started snapping away at it. The detail of the fine schooner here was pleasing to me. The life preserver balancing the ship's wheel. The day was overcast, the colors were mostly awash in a haze of blue. So I began to play. Step 1: Original Step 2: Duplicate Layer & Desaturate 2nd layer Step 3: Film grain & contrast Step 4: made layer 2 invisible - Selected colors from layer 1 - deleted those selected colors from layer 2 so they would show through. Step 5: almost there after repeating step 4 3 or for times with different colors selected. -Enjoy
