Description

I thought I'd give Famous Duets a try. The Odd Couple was one of the many times Jack Lemmon and Walter Matthau worked together. The sketch, referenced from another stock photo, was done with 5H, HB, H pencils and .3 and .5 Mechanical Pencils. The Background, Matting and frame were done through PSP8... along with the eyes and some postwork. I hope you like it. Thanks for stopping by!..Cheryl

I always loved them.. Matthau was one of my fav actors when I was a kid.. loved infinitely the movie he did with Roberto Benigni...Lemmon well.. a great great actor! Awesome and sensitive work :)

It is funny how character will have it's way with you. I would say this is Steve mcQueen and a character actor who played detectives on early black and white TV. Then I see the trick!! You put Lemmon's mouth on Matthau!! Then you had some really old studio shots the public has never seen of Lemmon when he was really young. Cheryll this one is a ball! Influence, the studio system, it all goes into making a series.
