Description

Ultrafractal 3.02 - Columns and skulls by Apophysis-1 - 110 layers, ouch! ;>) Deep in the bowels of the earth beneath Orthanc, citadel of Saruman the White, lies the maze of passageways wherein lies the Chamber of the Seeing Stone containing the Eye of Orthanc. Of old, the elven Eldar of Valinor had bequeathed to the race of Men numerous "seeing stones" with which they might have contact in their vigil against the evil Morgoth in his fortress, Barad-dur. From the glow eminating from the chamber it seems that, once again, Saruman is gazing into the stone and falling ever deeper in thrall to Sauron, the Eye of Mordor... Thanks for stopping by!

Fantastic artwork! Awesome image to match the storyline. I also am blown away by the amount of work that went into this (110 layers) is there a Guinus(sp) record? Bravo!

Hubba Hubba! 110 layers, and each and every one incredible. Rykk, you amaze me. Every time I think you can't get any better, you pop in with something simply irresistable. I'm muy impressed! This one should be in a museum.

I love looking at your compositions, Rykk. They're always so intruiging, with tons to occupy the eyes and the imagination. Pure genius!

Totally first rate. I especially like the glowing globes within the tetrahedrons, and I kind of want to know what's in the globes.

Am I going insane or this is a re-use of the background from your last posting, lol. I really like the way you have created the tunnel by placing the wall in front of it. I also like the christmas chains hanging from the roof, lol. I must admit that the reflections of the skull poles does bug me a little bit. I would have been tempted to put them in last as post work. It gets an excellent anyway and a vote! Just because I wouldn't know where to start doing this in UF! Nice work.

I'm kinda with smithgiant on this one (except I'm from 2D Fractaland. But my bit of trying to pick up UF and apophysis app. gives me great appreciation of the effort. By the way, pretty much all of the 5-6 are on this comment list. Thanks
