Okay, folks--I really, really, REALLY need some feedback. This is my second try at making a major improvement in my lighting techniques. I need some suggestions for improvement!
I hadn't originally intended to post this, otherwise there would have been a better background. Please tell me what you think of the lighting!!!!
As always, thank you all so much for looking. (Leave comments! Leave comments!)

I personally think the lighting is fine here if you are going for a well lit scene. Just keep in mind that often shadows can add to a scene as well. Looks cool so far. I really like her clothes.

Great posing and textures.

The lighting is good; like striving I think you might try a more dramatic contrast... the scene is well composed. You're doing quite well!

I do love the soft shadows. I love her outfit. Awesome job!

Wonderful job on the figures and textures, but I agree about the shadows, I do like soft shadows but I think they might be a little too soft....you might like to add a few spotlights too, not too close, just enough to add a few more definition shadows across the figures....

shadows... thats all it needs, soft shadows are beautiful, and the way you did this is cool enough, but imagine it with shadows and dramatic lighting! dang the effects would be mind blowing!

It depends greatly on what you mean to achieve with the image: with shadows subdued like this, the feeling is of solemnity and the scene is noble and serene. Personally, I like it a lot.

I think the lighting would work well for an interior seen with soft daylight. But the shoulder of the woman looks off. There is a way to move the control point, there was a good report on how in one of the 3D Artist Mag. http://www.3dartist.com/
