I wouldn't eat those...looks too much like an amanitia. I always thought A. muscarina had kind of a greenish sheen though. I can see the reminants of the annular ring and the swollen base suggests a volva...yep just a little too iffy on this one Great shot.

The art of mother nature is unsurpassable. Wonderful shapes, composition and orgy of colours. The beauty is in the eye of the beholder. So a great shot.

When I see this I long for autumn and my walks in the wood picking mushrooms. But I would let these stand where they are, just admiring :-)
